At LSTM, our research philosophy is simple: we move from evidence to innovation to impact. We believe world-class discovery science should lead to real-world change.

We work across the full translational spectrum, from fundamental discovery through to implementation. We bring together laboratory science, clinical trials and policy engagement in one connected process, so new ideas can move efficiently from concept to community. Our global partnerships help make sure this work happens where it matters most.

Through our six specialist research centres, we create a critical mass of scientists and researchers working across disciplines and geographies, showing how discovery connects with delivery. Alongside this, our Institute for Resilient Health Systems is building a global network of health systems experts, working with policymakers, practitioners and communities to help health systems anticipate and respond to uncertainty.
