Susan Russell

Biography

Sue Russell is a solicitor, who over a 40-year career has specialised in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. She is a Consultant to Hill Dickinson LLP, an international law firm based in Liverpool, which also has offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Piraeus, Monaco, Hong Kong and Singapore. Sue has previously served on the Board of Hill Dickinson.

Sue has advised public and private companies in the UK and overseas, principally in relation to acquisitions and disposals (M&A), and also with strategic commercial advice.

Sue graduated from Sheffield University with a law degree and also holds the Certificate in Corporate Finance issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Away from business, her interests are choral singing, football, cricket and family.

Sue is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee and the Board Champion for GDPR. She is also a Trustee on the IVCC Board. (Note IVCC need to update Sue’s profile on their site too)
