Infection Innovation Consortium: iiCON
iiCON is a world leading centre for infection innovation and R&D โ working with industry, academics, and clinicians to save and improve lives around the world by supporting innovation and progressing the development of antimicrobial products and treatments.
iiCON is led by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, with core partners: Unilever, Infex Therapeutics, Evotec, Life Arc, the University of Liverpool, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Medicines for Malaria Venture and LYVA Labs. The consortium works with companies of all sizes, supporting them from early ideas through development and into real-world use. It does this by bringing partners together and providing access to world-leading expertise, facilities and 11 specialist research platforms co-developed and run by its industrial, academic and clinical partners.
