Applying from outside the UK
If you’re applying from outside the UK, you may need a visa to work with us, which could mean planning your move in advance.
As an A-rated licensed sponsor, LSTM can support eligible colleagues with visa sponsorship. To make the process as smooth as possible, our dedicated HR and Payroll teams are here to guide you every step of the way. We also have policies in place to assist with relocation costs, as well as loans to help with dependent visa fees.

When you start, you will complete an occupational health screening so we can identify and provide any workplace adjustments you need. You’ll also take part in a comprehensive induction programme and undertake mandatory training to help you settle in and succeed.

Pay at LSTM
We want to recognise our colleagues for their contribution to improving health outcomes in disadvantaged populations globally, through partnership in research and education.
We offer a competitive pay structure, as well as mechanisms for progression. Our grading structure is based on the National HERA Pay Spine. We also have a separate salary scale, in line with the NHS pay and grading structure, for our clinical staff.
