Clinical Diagnostic Parasitology Laboratory (CDPL)

Specialist diagnostic services for parasitic infections | UKAS accredited (No. 9362)

Our UKAS-accredited laboratory provides specialist diagnostic testing for a full range of human parasitic infections including malaria, filariasis, schistosomiasis, strongyloides, and African trypanosomiasis.

We accept samples from NHS and PHE laboratories, private hospitals, and private laboratories
We cannot accept samples directly from patients – samples must be referred by a health professional
GPs are advised to send samples via your local hospital pathology department for efficient results and invoicing
