Our research, teaching and partnerships are delivered through four academic departments and our Faculty of Education. Together, they bring distinct expertise across tropical medicine and global health, working collaboratively to create impact at scale.

Clinical Sciences

Researches the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, advancing evidence-based approaches that improve care worldwide.

Governance

LSTM is committed to good governance and conduct its affairs in a responsible and transparent way with due regard to the Higher Education Code of Governance, the seven principles identified by the Nolan Committee on Standards in Public Life and the Office for Students public governance principles.

Governance is exercised through the Board of Trustees and its committees, which are accountable to the Members of LSTM, who in turn answer to the Charity Commission.

Professional Services

Provides the expertise and support to ensure we operate effectively, sustainably and in line with our strategic goals. Work includes student recruitment, marketing and education services, finance, human resources, estates and IT.
