How to leave a gift in your will

There are two main ways you can leave a gift in your will:

1. A fixed sum (pecuniary gift) – A fixed sum of money, for example, £5,000 to LSTM.

2. A residuary gift – A percentage of your estate after all debts and specific gifts are distributed. This type of gift retains its value over time and helps future-proof your generosity.
