People and culture

Our exceptional people are key to delivering our vision of healthy lives for all.

Dr Laura Dean stands at the front of a lecture room speaking to a seated audience, with red LSTM Inaugural Lecture Series banners and a screen behind her displaying details of Professor Julian Eatonโ€™s talk on mental health and a new global health architecture.

LSTM Inaugural Lectures

Our inaugural lectures and research seminars bring our community together for free, accessible talks on the discoveries, debates and decisions driving global health forward.

Across the programme, you will hear from leading scientists and researchers working on everything from new gene technologies that could help reduce the spread of vector-borne disease, to progress towards better treatments for snakebite, stronger preparedness for future pandemics, and ways to build effective health systems in an increasingly unstable world.
