Overview

Our MPH in Public Health (International) will help you build the professional toolkit to improve health systems in low-resource settings. This will help tackle global inequalities by increasing wellbeing, creating opportunities and supporting economic growth in some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.

You’ll study contemporary public health challenges, gain critical skills in research and evaluation, and design programmes that will make a measurable difference to people’s lives.

Who is this course for?

  • Professionals and graduates from a wide range of backgrounds, including medicine, nursing and allied health, public health, epidemiology and health policy, law, social sciences, education and international development.

  • People with qualifications in other subjects, or with substantial experience in health-related sectors.

  • Intercalating medical students who have completed at least three years of study.

“The MPH covers a range of important issues in contemporary public health. You’ll explore approaches to reducing health inequalities and learn how to use evidence-based principles to enhance policy and practice in various settings.”
