Biography
Ingrid Etoke is a Senior Program Officer in the Malaria team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she drives new product introductions and market shaping strategies for the vector control portfolio. Since 2021, she has spearheaded efforts to accelerate access to next-generation bed nets, working across global health partners, donors, policymakers, and manufacturers for maximum health impact.
Prior to joining the foundation, Ingrid held senior commercial roles at Sanofi, Novartis, and GSK across sub-Saharan Africa, culminating as General Manager. She also led market access initiatives at the Innovative Vector Control Consortium. With two decades of leadership in malaria and health systems in Africa, Ingrid brings deep technical and regional expertise. Born and raised in Cameroon, Ingrid is a trained biochemist with a masterβs in international marketing from the University of Science and Technology in Lille, France. Ingrid is also a member of the Finance and Investment Committee.
